Dr. Patrycja Renda B.Sc.(Hon) D.C.
Patrycja Renda grew up on Hamilton Mountain and has been working with patients in the area since finishing her education. Patrycja graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry. She continued her education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2007. Patrycja has focused her attention on the treatment and rehabilitation of patients suffering from a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and neurological conditions. She holds certifications in contemporary medical acupuncture as well as functional capacity evaluations. Techniques she uses in practice include; soft tissue techniques, joint mobilization and manipulation, modality therapy, prescription of rehabilitative exercises, as well as contemporary medical acupuncture. Patrycja is a strong believer in patient education, injury prevention, and working together with patients to obtain effective results.
Melissa Sieradzki-Jones MScPT, BScKin Hons
Melissa completed a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Queen's University, graduating summa cum laude. Prior to this, she graduated with distinction from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. At McMaster, Melissa was a varsity athlete on the figure skating team and was named an OUA All Star. Having been heavily involved in sports all her life, Melissa understands the desire for optimal recovery. She has completed her Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manipulative Physiotherapy: Level 1 and training in Mulligan Concept manual therapy with the purpose of restoring movement and decreasing pain. Melissa has experience treating sports injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries, post operative and degenerative conditions. In practice, Melissa combines joint mobilization, soft tissue release, therapeutic taping, and individualized rehabilitative exercise programs. She is dedicated to working with her patients to reach their goals, optimize functional recovery and prevent future injuries.
Luisa Jamieson BSc PT
Luisa Jamieson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Kiel in Germany. After university she practiced and pursued her interests in orthopaedics, post surgical rehabilitation, post-traumatic conditions and neurology. Luisa is a registered Boeger® (Switzerland) scar therapist treating recent and chronic scars; both of which can influence motion and pain. Luisa also received training in athletic taping, classic taping and Neurac® treatment. In practice, she uses joint mobilizations, soft tissue release techniques, complex exercise programs, modalities, and education to help her patients achieve their goals. Luisa believes that good communication and understanding between therapist and patient is essential to treating the complexities of each condition and injury.
Grace Gondek MSc.P.Ed. OCT Registered Kinesiologist
Grace Gondek has been in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years. Grace's career started in Poland where she finished a four year Masters in Physical Education program in 1984. Grace has focused her attention on physical rehabilitation, personal training, sport specific training, enhancement of physical performance, and education. Grace is a registered member of the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario as well as a registered member of the Ontario College of Teachers. Grace has also completed her physiotherapist assistant certification.
Ewa Bogucka RMT
Ewa Bogucka has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2008. She enjoys working in a clinical setting and has experience treating a variety of injuries and conditions including: motor vehicle accident injuries, work injuries, sport injuries, pregnancy related back pain, and neuromuscular conditions. Ewa holds certificates in Neuromuscular Therapy and Advanced Deep Tissue Program, Thai Massage and Suikodo Massage. Techniques she uses in practice include: deep tissue massage, relaxation massage, prenatal massage, neuromuscular therapy, swedish massage, body stretching and range of motion.
Nick Ilievski RMT
Nick Ilievski has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2011. He graduated from the acclaimed Trillium College and continues to study healing modalities. Nick's interest in massage therapy began when he was recovering from a personal injury. During his massage therapy treatments he realized the power and potential of the profession in helping in injury prevention and recovery. Nick enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary setting and has experience in treating a variety of injuries and conditions. Techniques he uses in practice include: deep tissue massage, myofascial release, swedish massage, therapeutic taping and therapeutic exercise. Nick also speaks four languages including: English, Bulgarian, Macedonian and Serbian.
